NomadNewcastle – soft launch of incubator offices

Hot Air Balloons by aoife mac

Hoults Yard has long been a hotbed for entrepreneurial talent. Today sees a new departure with the launch of NomadNewcastle, an open plan office space that small businesses and freelancers to share.

It’s often a lonely place working from home or in a tiny office, so Nomad offers the chance for enterprising individuals and small teams to share an office space – bringing the banter, the network and the bulk-buying.

Nomad’s start price is £40 per desk per week – so it could be cheaper to move out of that spare bedroom and rent it out, rather than stay home alone.

Nomad launches with teams from British Music League, shortly launching a ‘Battle of the Bands’ for NorthEast colleges, and event specialists Sailor Girl. There are a number of other folk talking to Hoults – it makes sense to join the Yard community, given we have 300 people already working here and are aiming to build this swiftly to 450.
