There will be a brief presentation about Ben’s work at Channel 4, a chaired conversation, and an opportunity to raise your own questions. Topics covered will include:
- Current commissioning opportunities, priorities and budgets across channels and platforms
- Channel 4’s ethos – especially in relation to drama – and how it varies across Channel 4 and E4, broadcast and online
- The practicalities of how to access the channel
- How the pitching and commissioning process works at Channel
- Who to take ideas to at Channel 4 and how best to approach the commissioning outside London
